frooly Does Virtual Networking

In the past we’ve run various workshops and events to encourage exchange and collaboration between independent businesses, and they’ve always been popular.

Now frooly is teaming up with TweetChat to hold virtual networking and troubleshooting sessions in the hope that we can connect you guys with other people who might have the answers you need.

What is TweetChat?

Tweetchat is a website that allows you to follow specific twitter conversations without other irrelevant tweets getting in the way.

How Are We Harnessing It?

We’ll be holding fortnightly tweetchat events where our shop owners can chat to each other, chat to us, get quick fixes to their frooly troubles, or advice on anything else that affects small businesses.

How Does It Work?

You’ll need a twitter account, and you’ll need to login to tweetchat.com at the allotted time. We’ll make sure you know what the topic hash tag is (eg #froolynetworking) and you’ll be able to chat away.

Exciting stuff, eh....interested?

If you are, send us a tweet @finditonfrooly with the hash tag #interested so we can send you more information when the time comes!

  1. Richard,

You might find a tool called twebevent useful. It allows you to merge your chat with your own host branding, instructions, day/time, and even embed images/video.

Also, if your chats are ongoing, you may want to add an entry on the Twitter Chat Schedule http://bit.ly/ChatSched Editable Doc.
