Frooly launches Devonshire Market, Sheffield

Aside from the impending Royal Wedding, the 29th April is a landmark occasion for another reason. Our city sees the launch of the first ever market to take place on Division Street and Devonshire Green, showcasing the very best in vintage, fashion, handmade, food, jewellery, crafts and farmers produce. We are literally counting down the days!

“We are really excited to be launching the first Devonshire Market. It’s about time that our creative city had a market to showcase our wonderful makers and sellers. As a small business, it can be really challenging to get your product to the masses cost effectively, and this is the perfect opportunity. Plus it’s a great drive to get people from Sheffield and surrounding areas back into our city centre” explains Gemma Baldan, frooly's coordinator for the event.

In partnership with Exposed Magazine and the people behind Tramlines / Harley live, the launch event will be the first of many monthly markets. There will be live music, entertainment, cocktails and a fabulous street party, and of course the Royal Wedding live!

Come and join us to celebrate our wonderful city.

  3. Yes, this particular event is celebrating independent business in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. In the future we hope to hold similar marketplaces in other locations though.

    Where are you based Eddie?
