Clever Site Design. A Blog Series for frooly Shop Owners

The internet has revolutionised retail, bringing unparalleled speed and convenience to the consumer. This is also a feature of the wider web, with website owners competing for the attention of increasingly demanding internet users. It is said that the average internet user makes a decision as to whether or not to navigate away from your site within the first 3 seconds of arriving, because there is so much choice online for them. This means that it is now more important than ever to get the look and feel of your site absolutely spot on so that your customers won't slip through the net.

So, you’ve either created a shop or website with frooly, or you're thinking about it. Whether this is your first foray into internet retail or just another virtual franchise in your chain of internet shops, frooly is aiming to make things simple for you to sell and make money online. To that end, I’ve written a four-part blog series to get you up and running and making the most of your frooly site so that shoppers want to find your site and, more importantly, stay to browse!

....oh, I’m Richard by the way!

In this series, we’ll be exploring:

  1. Clever Site Design: A Splash of Colour (Helping you get your colour scheme right)

  2. Clever Site Design: What Goes Where and Why? (talking you through layouts)

  3. Clever Site Design: Image is Everything (a guide to using images on your site)
