frooly help: How to get more fans on frooly AND get to the top of our directory

We hope you like your new frooly,

We've tried to tip the balance in favour of small businesses - the hidden gems (i.e. you!) - this is the first in a few help posts to give you the secret to success on new frooly.

Get to the top of the frooly Directory by inviting more fans from your email list.

We rank the frooly Directory on 'Most Fans' and the frooly Homepage on 'Most recent'. #NewFrooly rewards content creation by aggregating all Blog Posts, Videos, Images and Products to present a personalised frooly.com for the user.

There's no need for SEO skills or IT Knowledge - if you add content, and help build our shopping community, you get rewarded with extra prominence. The rationale being that proactive site owners are most likely proactive business owners.

Your feedback is always welcome

Thanks

Help Tip #1 -
Get to the top of #newfrooly

Firstly, get a frooly site, then when you are logged in just copy and paste your emails from your contact list into the Invite Customers field on the frooly toolbar . They will receive an Invite Email from you which, like Facebook, can be clicked to 'join your site' - the more people join, the more your message is heard, and the more you will grow.

How to invite customers to join your frooly site?

This step by step info is taken from the frooly help system

1) Log in to frooly in the user bar, using your email address and password

2) Navigate to ‘promote’ on the business bar. Click on ‘Invite People’

3) You will be presented with the ‘Invite People’ page.

4) To invite customers to join your website use the "Invite Customers" section on the page, if you want to invite people to become staff use the "Invite Staff" section and refer to the Invite staff help below. To invite type or copy the email address of the customers, friends and colleagues that you want to invite to join your site.

You can put multiple email addresses in separated by a comma, for example john@hootmail.com,emma@geemail.com

They will receive an automated ‘invitation’ with your details on and can click the link to join your site. This process complies with data protection laws and gives the customer control over how you can contact them.

Put 1000’s of Email Addresses in at once. Copy and paste email addresses from a CSV file. This will automatically put the commas between the email addresses. If you copy and paste from a Microsoft Excel document you will have to put the commas in yourself!
